ChiaoGoo TWIST Short Combo Set – small but mighty!
The TWIST Short Combo sets are the perfect interchangeable circular needle sets for small-diameter projects like socks, wrist warmers, hats, or sleeves. Each set includes two 5 cm and two 8 cm lace tips (in the same needle size), two red cables (13 and 15 cm) (blue for 3.5 to 5mm), and two handy T-shaped tightening keys.
Mix and match the tips and cables to create circular needles ranging from 23 to 31 cm – even with one short and one long tip! Ideal for socks and mittens. The sharp lace points make them perfect for lace patterns, bobbles, clusters, or cables.
The included memory-free cables are made of multi-strand steel and won’t kink, curl, or hold shape – just smooth knitting every time. The T-keys help you tighten or loosen your needle tips easily and securely.
This set is available in the MINI version (M) with red cables, suitable for needle sizes 1.50 to 3.25 mm, and the Small version (S) with blue cables, suitable for needle sizes 3.5 to 5 mm.

The TWIST and SPIN product lines share the same thread sizes, so parts can be combined – as long as the thread size matches. Each needle tip and cable is clearly laser-marked with its thread size:

M = MINI (1.50–2.50 mm for 10/13 cm tips, 1.50–3.25 mm for 8 cm tips)

S = SMALL (2.75–5.00 mm for 10/13 cm tips, 3.50–5.00 mm for 8 cm tips)

L = LARGE (5.50–10.00 mm for 10/13 cm tips)
Note: MINI is not compatible with S or L thread sizes. All MINI tips require MINI cables. The 10 and 13 cm MINI tips are too long for use with the 5, 13, or 15 cm MINI cables – but you can extend them using a MINI cable connector. ChiaoGoo also offers adapters to link parts with different thread sizes.
Important: The MINI Shorties (1.50–3.25 mm) are an exception and can only be used with matching MINI components.
